The Importance Of Proper Skin Care

Taking care of your skin is always important but crucial when getting ready for the big day. As a new bride you may be inclined to try every skin care product on the market to create the perfect complexion for your wedding day. STOP! By altering your skin too much, your skin will be unsure on what your trying to accomplish and hence cause unwanted blemishes.

It is vitally important that you stop trying different regiments at least one and one half months before your wedding day. This gives your skin ample time to adjust to whatever skin care your using. When your selecting skin care, make sure that your read the ingredients on the back to ensure your skin won't have an allergic reaction. As well, the ingredients will indicate what the product does have. Any skin care that contains amino acids and botanicals are wonderful for your skin. They help prevent the process of aging. This is equally important if you're 25 or 45.

With the use of skin care that contains important ingredients like these mentioned, your skin has a chance to fight against things like the elements and sun damage. Wearing a moisturizer with SPF will help this skin protection as well. It is also essential that you select the proper skin care for your skin type. There are three different types of skin: normal/combination skin (dry in some areas and oily in others), dry skin, and oily or blemish prone skin. Finding your skin type is easy. If you generally have dry cheeks, but sometimes oily forehead and chin, you have combination skin. If your skin is always flaky and no moisturizer touches it you have dry skin. If your skin always feels slick and you use a whole pack of beauty blotters in one day, your skin is oily or blemish prone.

After you've selected your skin regiment, give your skin approximately two weeks to adjust to it. Sometimes with new products your skin may slightly break out. This is caused by the change in one product to the other. If within two weeks your regiment isn't working, seek other measurements but be sure to pay attention to the ingredients. Remember when when selecting your skin care, don't just run out to the drug store and buy the first thing that looks good. You only get what you pay for. Carefully research the product thoroughly before you purchase it. Having radiant skin on your wedding day is a must but you shouldn't have to suffer trying to achieve it.

Wedding Tip #18
When going for your trial "up do", make sure to tell your stylist your likes and dislikes. If you aren't fond of the "do" she gives you, tell her! After all, you're paying HER!
